Consultation under the Three
People of Imotong State calls for federal system of government

December 31, 2017, the National Dialogue steering committee for Easten Equatoria sup-region headed by Chairperson Nartisio Loluke Manir conducted National Dialogue consultations under a Big three in Imehejek, covering the two counties (Lopa and Lopit West ) the former greater Lopa county.
During the consultation the stakeholders expressed their views freely with out fear
specially issues related to poor governance, economic crisis, lack of development, insecurity , service delivery and the need to end the war.
One of the major issues consistently raised is the federal system of government as an alternative to the current system. The stakeholders also called for full implementations of the resolutions of the National Dialogue.
After the meeting, the chairperson of Eastern Equatoria sup-committee Nartisio Loluke Manir talked to the press that the consultations ended sucecfuly in greater Lopa county, following another successful consultations in Ikowto county.
He mentioned also that the stakeholders expressed their views freely without fear of any form of intimidation.
