South Sudan National Dialogue Embarks on New Consultations

Hon. Manasseh Magok Rundial heads the Unity team while Hon. Chuol Rambang leads the Jonglei committee. . “Progress is going on in the consultation,” Hon. Angelo Bangbaru Beda, the National Dialogue Co-Chair, told the National Dialogue website today. “National dialogue is indispensable.”

The sub-committee for Refugees and International Outreach, under Hon. Deng Dau Malek, is expected to visit Sudan and Ethiopia at the end of the week to reach out to the refugees in both nations. More delegates are soon to be deployed across the nation.

The Co-chair said that the National Dialogue initiative has spearheaded an environment for dialogue. “Arrests have stopped. Political detainees are being released,” he said.

“If unconditional ceasefire holds, South Sudanese will have peace.”
