National Dialogue Leadership leaves for Egypt
Juba – A high-level delegation of the leadership of the South Sudan National Dialogue travelled to Cairo today from Juba. The trip comes in response to an official invitation extended to the peace-making body by the Egyptian government.
“Egypt voluntarily have come to our support,” Hon. Gabriel Yoal Dok, the Deputy Co-chair of the National Dialogue and the head of the delegation told ND website from the Juba International Airport.
The weeklong tour intends to “agree on [Egyptian] support of the National Dialogue and what they can do for us,” he added.
Also accompanying Hon. Gabriel are Dr. Amb. Francis M. Deng, the Deputy Rapporteur, Gov. William Othuon Awer, Deputy Rapporteur, Hon. Mary Bicensio Wani, Member of National Dialogue leadership, Hon. David Okwer, a member of the Steering Committee and Vincent Wanga, the deputy chairperson of the Information and Communication Unit of the ND.
